Goals are desired results or outcomes.
What is goal setting?
Is establishing specific achievable goals.
What is the difference between long-term goals and short-term goals?
You might want to make a certain weight for a competition that is coming up but that goal is just for the competion. After the competion you might go back to your original weight. That is a short term goal. In a long term goal, you most likely keep working to achieve that goal for long time.
What are the steps necessary for successful goals setting?
Realizing that you can do better is the first step. The next step is setting realistic, achievable goals. Next, you work hard to achieve your goals. Last, if you feel like you can do better, set more goals.
